HISTORY
In 2011, a leading design director with extensive experience in Latin America and a director of a leading Irish Greeting Card Company, with more than 30 years experience in the sector, decided to expand horizons and open new markets. The initial focus was on the Latin American market and it was immediately apparent that the market responded to a new offering with high quality design and production values.Subsequently, there were many questions requiring answers including which qualities Latin Americans like in Greeting Cards and Party Products. An in-depth market research study followed to understand the drivers for Latin American consumers with a view to creating quality products that addressed them.After these very interesting findings, ready to be applied in the development of new products, the first designs for the Latin American market were created by the Wishes Party Studio in 2012.
In this process, new Spanish language editorial that responded to the sentiments expressed by consumers, was developed. This was matched with the design elements and production qualities preferred by the consumers throughout the months of focus groups and workshops.At the same time, new offices were located in México City so that the company could be closer to its Mexican retail clients and end consumers and in early 2013 Wishes Party de México SA de CV was formed to serve the Mexican market directly.Since then, Wishes Party has been selling its products and developing its category in a number of Latin American markets with success.
